Fred’s career at Haines began in 1979 as a college intern. He’s never left. His entire career has been with Haines in positions of increasing responsibility in distribution operations, sales and marketing. He is also a member of our 20-year club.
In 1996, Fred was named Vice President of Operations. He served this role through 2000, when he became Vice President, Ceramic Sales and Marketing. Fred came back for a second tour as the Vice President of Operations in 2005 and has been here since. He has broad responsibility for developing and executing the company’s operations strategy, and development of the Haines’ product portfolio.
Fred is a graduate of the University of Maryland and he holds a BS degree in Education and Computer Science. He has also served on the board and as the President of the North American Association of Floor Covering Distributors.
Fred and his wife, Joanna, reside in Ellicott City, MD. They have four children.
