John joined Haines as Chief Financial Officer in 2005. In his role, he has broad responsibility for developing and executing the company’s financial strategy and objectives.
Prior to joining Haines, John worked from 1997 to 2004 in a variety of senior financial positions in MCI, Inc., the Fortune 100 global telecommunications company, including Senior Director of Corporate Development and a stint as Chief Financial Officer for their SkyTel, Inc. subsidiary.
Previous to joining MCI, John was a Management Consultant with Price Waterhouse LLP. John is a graduate of both the University of Georgia and American University Graduate School of International Service. He holds a BA in Political Science and Economics and a MA in International Economic Development.
John resides in Ellicott City, MD with wife Emilie and three children.
