CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER, SOUTH
Fred provides leadership for the logistics operations and critical support functions to better position the organization for future growth and efficiencies, and better serve the needs of the Haines customer base. Fred has been a part of the Haines family for most of his 40 years in the flooring industry, initially joining the company as a college intern in 1980 working in the warehouse. After graduation from the University of Maryland with a BS in Education, he was hired as a Manager trainee.
Throughout his tenure at Haines, he has held leadership positions in Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, and IT functions, building out a well-rounded knowledge of the company and its inner workings. Fred holds an MBA from Pennsylvania State University and is a past president of the North American Association of Floor Covering Distributors (NAFCD). Away from the office, he enjoys spending time and relaxing with his growing family, as well as traveling, boating and actively supports Freemasonry.
